Care and
Cleaning of Calphalon Katana Series Cutlery
Care for
your cutlery properly. Due to the type of steel used to
manufacture high performance cutlery, it may be more
susceptible to temporary staining, spots and water marks.
It's important that you remember to care for your cutlery
properly. You'll be rewarded with a lifetime of exceptional
cutlery performance and unparalleled beauty.
Everyday
cleaning. Wash your Calphalon Katana Series cutlery by
hand with hot soapy water and a sponge. Use a nylon scrubber
to remove any sticky foods that may cling to the knives.
Rinse and thoroughly dry your knives with a soft cloth
immediately after washing and replace them in the block. To
preserve the beautiful marbled finish of your cutlery, do
not allow knives to air dry. Staining, spots or water
marks may result.
Never wash
your knives in the dishwasher. Dishwasher use will void
your warranty.
Removing
stains and water spots. If you forget to dry your knives
immediately and stains do appear, you can remove them by
cleaning the blades with Barkeeper's Friend (a non-abrasive
polish) and a wet sponge. Rinse your knives well and dry
them at once, as previously recommended. |
